Welcome to Kora. These Terms govern your use of the Kora app and services (“Kora”). By using Kora you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Kora.
Kora is a personal AI assistant for Android that can chat with you, remember details you share, hold live voice conversations, understand photos you send, create images at your request, and—when you ask—carry out actions on your phone (send messages or email, place calls, set reminders and alarms, read and edit your calendar, read your notifications, play music, find places, and more). Some actions require permissions you grant on your device, and you can withdraw any of them at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kora, or older where your country sets a higher minimum age for consenting to online services (16 in some EU countries). If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission.
You can start as a guest or sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device secure. Don’t use Kora to act on accounts, devices or data you don’t own or have permission to use.
Kora’s free plan includes daily limits—on messages, live-voice minutes and image creation—so the service stays available to everyone. These limits may change as the service evolves. Attempting to circumvent them, or to use Kora through anything other than the official app, is not permitted.
Kora Plus is a paid subscription (monthly or annual) sold through Google Play and billed to your Google account, with an optional free trial. Prices vary by country and are shown in Google Play before you pay. Auto-renewing plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. A prepaid plan, where offered, does not auto-renew.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and refund requests are handled under Google Play’s policies. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase; by starting to use Kora Plus immediately you ask us to begin the service during that period, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been fully performed. Statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.
The free trial is available once per person. The referral programme gives bonus Plus days to both a new user and the person who invited them, subject to limits we set to prevent abuse. We may withhold or reverse trial or referral benefits obtained through duplicate accounts, automation, or any other attempt to game the programme, and may change or end the programme at any time.
Don’t use Kora to break the law, harass or impersonate others, send spam, infringe others’ rights, generate unlawful or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its rate limits. You are responsible for the messages, emails and other actions Kora carries out at your request. We may suspend accounts that violate this.
Kora only acts when you ask it to. Messages, emails and similar outgoing actions are shown or read back to you for confirmation before they are sent, and you remain responsible for their content and for who receives them. Where an action uses Android’s Accessibility service, Kora uses it solely to complete the action you requested. Kora cannot move money; features relating to bank or mobile-money notifications are read-only.
The hands-free “Hey Kora” wake word is optional and off unless you enable it. When enabled, Kora listens for the wake word on your device and shows an ongoing notification while it is running. You are responsible for using voice features lawfully, including where recording or transmitting other people’s voices requires their consent.
You keep ownership of the content you provide to Kora. You grant us the permission needed to process it in order to operate the service for you. As between you and us, you may use the images Kora generates for you, including commercially, subject to these Terms and to our providers’ terms. AI image generation is not guaranteed to be unique, and you are responsible for checking that your use does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Kora is powered by AI and can make mistakes. Its responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and are provided for general assistance only. Kora is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other advice. Verify anything important before relying on it, and review actions before they are carried out.
Kora relies on third-party services to work—including Google (Firebase, Gemini AI, Cloud Text-to-Speech, Gmail, Maps, Play Billing) and ElevenLabs (premium voice). Your use of features that rely on them is also subject to those providers’ terms. Kora isn’t responsible for third-party apps it opens or acts within at your request.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data Kora collects, who it is shared with, and how it is protected. By using Kora you agree to it.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and the service depends on third-party providers and your device and network. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Kora is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kora and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) Kora, including actions taken on your behalf at your request. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
You can stop using Kora and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated or to comply with the law.
We may update these Terms as Kora evolves; we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
